Understanding your vehicle's Engine drive belts and the importance of its maintenance
An engine's drive belt wraps around a series of pulleys and tensioners in order to power vital components of your vehicle including your AC, alternator, power steering, and water pump. Over time, the belt can wear, stretch or separate, preventing proper operation of these systems. It is important to inspect these drive belts at the recommended intervals and to replace them as required.
