Understanding your vehicle's Engine coolant and the importance of its maintenance
Engine coolant absorbs heat from your engine, then circulates it through the radiator to dissipate the heat. Engine coolant also plays a vital role in providing heat inside your cabin compartment. Over time, the engine coolant loses its ability to transfer heat, resist freezing, and may become corrosive. Coolant level should be regularly checked and it should be replaced periodically.
