Understanding your vehicle's Engine oil and filter and the importance of its maintenance
Engine oil lubricates your engine while dissipating heat and removing debris from internal engine wear. The engine oil filter removes contaminants and debris from the oil. Over time, the oil loses cooling and lubrication properties and the filter may become clogged. Engine oil levels should be checked regularly and the engine oil and filter should be replaced at the required intervals.
